Posting Policy
Hawaii Cannabis Times welcomes submissions from readers, non-profit organizations, free lance journalists, accomplished authors, student authors, and bloggers from around the world. By submitting content to the Hawaii Cannabis Times, you agree to the following:
- The article you’re submitting is your original work, or the work of your organization and you have permission to reproduce or republish it.
- You grant Hawaii Cannabis Times permission to publish, republish, remove, edit, alter, share, and license your submissions.
- You release Hawaii Cannabis Times and assume all liabilities for any damages resulting from the publication of your submissions.
Author Guidelines
Before submitting an article, please take some time to review the type of articles Hawaii Cannabis Times publishes. If you feel your submission would add to our readers interests, please read the below guidelines.
- We will only publish stories written by the submitting author, or press releases from the submitting organization.
- We love new ideas and creative pieces. Submit a story we haven’t heard from other media sources.
- As an online news publication, we publish a variety of articles that can appeal to local and global audiences.
- We publish press releases from activist and non-profit organizations as well as cannabis business and industry leaders provided they are not purely marketing pieces.
- We have a small editorial staff, and as such cannot spend a lot of time editing submissions. Please send us a final edited draft that is ready to publish.
- We reserve the right to edit, alter, change, and or rewrite all submissions when necessary.
- We welcome image submissions provided you have rights to use the image. Please either be the owner of the image or have permission to use the image.
- We will do our best to notify you when your article is published, provided you used an accurate email address with your submission.
