Hawaii marijuana seed to sale software tracking system.
The Hawaii State Department of Health has awarded BioTrackTHC its state contract for a web based seed to sale tracking system which will track the production, transportation and sale of medical marijuana in Hawaii.
The seed-to-sale software will be used by the Hawaii Department of Health to track medical marijuana dispensary products in real-time from seed to sale and or disposal, and will collect detailed data for production, transportation, inventory and sales information.
“The development of a healthy and successful medical cannabis program is a top priority for Hawaii, and we are extremely proud to have been chosen to be a critical part of it,” said Pat Vo, CEO, BioTrackTHC. “The islands of Hawaii are truly unique and we very much look forward to applying our expertise in solving the cannabis trace-ability challenges unique to Hawaii.”
BioTrackTHC’s seed-to-sale Trace-ability System is currently also being used by four other states, including Washington, New Mexico, and Illinois, and is in the process of being implemented in New York.
Software technologies such as this enable state agencies as well as businesses to track every marijuana plant and every fraction of a gram of cannabis throughout the production life cycle. From cultivation to harvest and cure, as well as through quality assurance testing, transportation, destruction, and sale, which can bring transparency, accountability, and meaningful insights to legal cannabis operations.
